When I try to activate the plugin, it crashes the site, error log says:

[21-May-2019 14:48:30 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot use BracketSpace\Notification\Core\Notification as Notification because the name is already in use in …/wp-content/plugins/notification/class/Abstracts/Trigger.php on line 14

I was able to successfully activate and configure on my own server’s dev version of this site, but there is apparently a conflict with something on the site I am attempting to now integrate with (I am only developing a piece of this site). I disabled all the plugins and even with none active, activating the Notifications plugin (v 6.0.1) caused that error above.

Can you help me figure out what else might be declaring that class or term (Notification)? The theme is a very generic one as the developer chose to use Elementor to build the site.

What else might it be? Or, how can I correct?
    Thanks

Ah, yes – it’s running on PHP5.6. I will see if updating that breaks the site…

That appears to be the answer. Updated to PHP7 and all is swell. Thanks.
