Title: Terms counting doesnt work Last modified: January 12, 2023 --- # Terms counting doesnt work * Resolved [drachires](https://wordpress.org/support/users/drachires/) * (@drachires) * [3 years, 4 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/terms-counting-doesnt-work/) * Hello, * firstly it appeared only on one value of Color attribute, but now I found out it happened also on 2 entire new attributes I created just few days ago. * Although products have those attribute terms, the total count of them in Products- >Attributes->”Specific attribute” is 0 for every term, although every term is added to 1 product. * Result of this (and thats why it is a problem for me) is also that my Product Linked Variations plugin malfunctions and doesnt show variations on product pages. * I tried Recounting terms and regenerating everything with your tools that could potentially help this, but nothing helps. I know its a issue that can somehow happen over time, because firstly I saw variations on those products, and now they disappeared. * Do you know what can be causing this please? something is broken with the database … because I tried disabling the plugins that could interfere with this but nothing helped, I also tried to check the logs for you, for many days there are no I could disable all plugins besides of woocommerce, I could switch to default theme, and again try everything, still the count for term or category was zero (the products that were under those categories or had those terms was added before this procedures). * BUT in the point this option was disabled, and I added new product with that category, it finally recounted the count and it was correct … * My point is … * 1. You should definitely get to talk with that guy from Scalability Pro, he has great ideas, but obviously not perfect and dig to the bottom of this issue, so you can maybe implement few of his ideas * 2.
