# Test mails settings failed

 * Hi, I feel priviledged to post the first support question! 🙂
 * Just installed the plugin but when I click on the Test mail settings button I’m
   getting “Sending failed :-(“.
 * Any advice of what to look for?

 * Does your server have mail setup? Do you have any forms or anything else that
   are sending mail correctly on that WP instance? If not you may need to setup 
   a SMTP plugin.

 * Congrats [@benz1](https://wordpress.org/support/users/benz1/) 🙂 I have an SMTP
   plugin installed and configured and as per the FB post this is introduced in 
   this version but was working in 1.3.2. I have let the guys know too outside of
   the post.

 * Thanks graphiclux, I do have a form on the site that is working correctly but
   someone posted on the FB group that apparently the test meil function was working
   in v1.3.2 but is no longer working.
