# Text/HTML between fields (feature request)

* It would be nice if there was a way to add a ‘mark-up’ field (borrowing the name
from Drupal) that wasn’t an actual field, but that allowed you to add text or
HTML.
* Use cases would be:
– Headings to group fields in complicated forms. – Explanations
for certain fields. – Units. – Introductory text for the entire form. – Footer
text for the entire form.
* The latter two can be included in the post/page/widget as text in front or behind
the form’s shortcode, but they will then also be displayed upon submission, which
can look weird if these texts are strictly related to the form.
* For example, let us suppose somebody sends new members a pinback button with
a custom text, but you want to explain there is a limit to how much text fits
on a button:
* Type Label Values Class Required
[Text] [Text on your button] [] [button-text][
v] [Markup] [] [Use no more than 60 characters.] [button-explanation]
