# Text/Visual Editor

    How can we set the Visual Editor as default and disable the Text editor?
   Currently, our site is loading the Text Editor by default and the wysiwyg buttons

 * To enable the RTE/Visual Editor, check the box for the option “Rich Text Editor”.
   Then save changes and done.

 * So, I had to disable it, save, then enable it and save. it’s working now.
 * But now I’m noticing the categories dropdown only contains 1 category, “uncategorized”.
   However, I have a couple of dozen created in WordPress.

 * To enable which categories to display for the Category field, visit the “Categories”
   option and select them. Save changes and done.

 * yea, it’s not pulling all categories. I’ve just disabled it for now

 * Understood. The Category field should contain all selected categories. This can
   be verified on default WP install.
