 * Hello,
 * I’m trying to activate FetchTweets. In the settings window, using the connect
   button to twitter approval, redirects back to settings, requesting some authentication
   keys. I’m not a coder, so how can I get over this issue. Thx in advance.

 * Hi,
 * I quite don’t get what your problem is. What issue exactly are you facing with?
 * What does the status say in the Authentication page which can be accessed via
   Dashboard -> Fetch Tweets -> Settings?

 * Hello. When requesting connection to my Twitter account, I receive this information:“
   The API authentication keys need to be set in order to use this plugin”. How
   can I get them? do I need to code? Thx.

 * I’m still having difficulties understanding your problem.
 * > do I need to code?
 * No. You don’t need to code.
 * Try this:
    1. Go to `Dashboard` -> `Fetch Tweets` -> `Settings`. You’ll get the
   Authentication page of the plugin. Confirm that the status is Not authenticated.
   2. Click on the Connect button. It will redirect you to the Twitter’s authentication
   page and authenticate the plugin. Then you’ll get redirected back to the plugin
   setting page. 3. Now you should see the status indicating Authenticated.
 * Let me know what exactly happens when you follow the above step.

 * Hi,
    I’ve already done those steps. But, after authenticating the plugin on twitter
   page, and be redirected to the plugin setting page, I get the following info:“
   The API authentication keys need to be set in order to use this plugin”. And
   four form fields to insert authentication keys. Should I send you a screenshot?.
   Thx for the help.

 * Sounds like some third party scripts are preventing the options from being saved.
 * I can suggest you two options:
 * A. Disable all the other plugins and try it again.
 * B. Set the keys manually. For that you need your own application keys. You can
   obtain them here: [https://dev.twitter.com/apps/new](https://dev.twitter.com/apps/new)

 * Option A, done. The problem still remains.
    Option B, twitter dev app website.
   I need to code. And I don’t know how. Back to post one. I will try to do the
   thing I was avoiding, learn how to make a twitter app to discover the keys to
   insert manually on the plugin settings. Thx for the help, anyway. Regards, n.

 * Regarding the option A, you may try it with a different browser.
 * Even if you go with the option B, you don’t need to code. Just create the application
   keys there. This web page may help. [http://iag.me/socialmedia/how-to-create-a-twitter-app-in-8-easy-steps/](http://iag.me/socialmedia/how-to-create-a-twitter-app-in-8-easy-steps/)
