The backup directory is write protected
-
Hello Evrybody
When I want to make the safeguarding of the site, I get the following message:
The “Backup Now” button is disabled because write permission is not granted in your backup folder (go to the settings tab to access the relevant option).
When I go to settings
I have the following message:The backup directory exists but is not writable Click here to attempt to create the directory and set the permissions, or to reset this option here. In case of problems, check the file access rights or select a writable directory for your web server. Here qu’UpdraftPlus will write Zip files it created initially. Your web server must be able to write to this directory. It is in your content directory (which by default is named wp-content). Do not place among your directories uploads or plugins, this will cause a recursion (backups of backups of backups …).
So I click on “Settings” and click on the message

The administration panel Updraft said:
The backup directory can not be created …
The file exists but the web server does not have permission to write to it. You should consult your host to tell you how he grant a WordPress plugin for permission to write to a file. (wp-content / updraft).
I tried to adjust the permission by FTP rights of wp-content folder> updraft of 777 but I still have the same error.
Why and how to fix it?
Thanks for your help.
