    Customer support is excellent – even on weekends I got fast response

    The free version is useless… even for the basic functionality like display of the Calender you need the PRO edition – even though the advertising on the website says otherwise.

    That said, some advanced features — including the ability to embed your calendar within the same site using shortcodes — are part of the The Events Calendar PRO. These PRO-only features are designed specifically for users who need deeper customization and additional display options.
