 * This is not a question.
 * I just want to say that Nexgen galley is, in my opinion, the most important WordPress
plugin. I use it for every project I work on and it’s a cornerstone of my development.
It’s flexibilty is astounding and one can essentially make it do anything.
 * I would not request any changes to it, except maybe to release a version with
less inbuilt libraries – no slideshows etc…allowing those who can, to add jQuery
etc at will. I essentially always do and merely use nextgen as a SUPERB gallery
   administration centre.
 * I have been thinking about putting up a site with nextgen examples showcasing
the flexibility (I have managed to build a flash flipbook for instance)…just
haven’t found the time…but will hopefully manage to do so in the future.
 * Great work Alex Rabe and team.

 * thanks… indeed sometimes it’s better to reduce the amount of functions for a
faster, lighter and more useable core plugin. But it’s also hard to get all requests
and wishes maintained with different plugins

 * I just always like having complete control of all aspects of my sites and hate
having stuff I don’t use – always look for a native solution before I would install
any plugin. Nextgen is brilliant – couldn’t work without it…but I just fear that
a few versions from now it’s going to have so many builtin templates and features
   that one loses comprehensive control.
 * Perhaps all the more reason to build a website with various nextgen implementations…
that people can copy and use as opposed to building them into the core.
 * But…hey…that’s just me. I’m sure majority of people would disagree.

 * i still agree… i try to keep out features which are not usefull for the majority
