“the parameter is incorrect”

I installed wordpress today on my server. It was all working fine, then all of a sudden it just stopped working. i was editing my theme.

i don’t think i even changed anything before it went wrong. now when i navigate to wp-login.php it tells that “the parameter is incorrect”.

please help as its doing my head in and i cant get into the control panel to continue working.
