• Hi!
I’ve been trying to fix our clubs rosters. I’ve been modifyinf styles.css (changing colors and picture sizes). The plugin has deactivated itself twice already. the error message “The plugin team-rosters/mstw-team-rosters.php has been deactivated due to an error:Plugins file doesnt exist (this bit is finnish, but I tried to translate it.

What file could it be and how to fix?

Also, we’re planning on using playercards as our roster and I found out that if you have an uneven amount of cards, the text under cards tries to fit next to the cards. (I’ll post screenshot after I got the plugin working again)
    adding
    to the HTML does nothing.

    Hi jaicco,
    Thanks for posting. In order:

    1. As for the plugin deactivating itself, I don’t know what to say. In all my years working with WordPress, I’ve never seen a plugin “deactivate itself”, nor has that ever been reported to me. Something, somewhere is not configured correctly. Did you get any PhP messages? Do you have DEBUG turned on? Did you log in your debug.log file? If the answer to the above is no, I recommend you turn on DEBUG, send all messages to the log file, and have a look there next time the plugin “deactivates itself.

    2. Looking at your screen capture, it appears that the CSS has to be adjusted for whatever the theme is doing. Looks like a pretty simple CSS fix. However, …

    3. When I look at your site, it appears you have fixed the issue with the layout and the left nav bar/area. And your cards look good, but the data is not appearing because you aren’t displaying the text in the right color.

Glad to see you’re playing American football in Finland. Go Wolverines!

    1. It hasnt deactivated itself anymor (fingers crossed)
    2. I’m really new into wordpress and I have no idea where to start with this one. Any good tips / tutorials how to make the player bios look good.
    3. got this fixed now.

A new problem that I want to fix, is the player photos. They lose quality when they appear on the bio. Any easy fix?

We’ve had american football since the late 70’s and womens tackle football since 2008 (placed 3rd twice in World championships and won European championships last summer). Thank you for your support!

    Hi Jarkko,
I actually had a plugin “deactivate itself” on my dev site yesterday. Actually WP deactivated it because I moved (rather than copy) the plugin’s main file out of the plugin’s folder. Oops! As I said, plugins don’t deactivate themselves.

This forum is for bugs and simple (RTFM) questions. I appreciate being notified of bugs, and don’t mind the simple questions because they allow me to improve the plugins and their documentation, the FAQ pages for example.

Player photo problems generally boil down to the size and aspect ratio of the uploaded images, and how they are uploaded to the Media Library.

I do not support integration of the plugin with user’s sites and themes. If you would like some support with those issues, you might consider registering for MSTW Gold Support. That support provides a set of “private” forums dealing with such issues, as well as access to a library of video tutorials. (Off the top of my head, I don’t recall if there is one on styling the player gallery page or not.)

    Regards,
    -Mark
