Toxic. Reason: add file link
Thank you! Is it a problem for you translating pinit on the official translation platform of WordPress? You will earn a badge in your profile if you do so!
You have just to login into ww.wp.xz.cn with your account and go here:
https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/locale/ru/default/wp-plugins?s=pinit
You will be able to translate everithing online, without using po/mo files. It will be nice beacause in this way every translation file will remain online instead of being included in the plugin itself! After you did it I will mention you on the readme of the plugin.
Thank you for your effort! π
Eugenio
Hi Eugenio
I added any fields to with description detailed for Pinit options.
And I updated link to .po/.mo files
Thank you.
Thank you, that’s great!
We are moving to the new way of transating for WordPress and we don’t want to include po/mo files in our plugin directly at all. If you want to include the translation you have to translate it on the official platform (glotpress) that I’ve linked to you before! This is the new way of dealing with wordPress translations, if you do it you will be credited with an official translator badge and I can add you on the readme of the plugin.
Sorry for this extra step that I’m requiring to you but we are tring to stay with the official way of developing on WordPress and this is a new standard (no more po/mo files) π

I added to Stable (latest release) 19 new values. Could you tell me please when they will publish?
Great work!!
Usually the approval process is very quick, something like 24/48 hours max and you will earn your badge! π
Hey iGenius!
Unfortunately, I don’t see changing situation to Russian translated for Pinit. Maybe my translate has a problem on ww.wp.xz.cn?
I’m talking right now with Sergey, a Russian PTE for the approval. Sorry for the delay! π
Hi @avk-1, thanks for your contributions and sorry for the delay.
I’ve reviewed and approved all the strings (also corrected some old ones), and the plugin is now at 100%.
I’ve also added you as a translation editor for the plugin, so your translations won’t require approval in the future. Please take a look at Russian translation style guide if you haven’t yet π

Just a note, this isn’t completely true for most locales, as there are no notifications for waiting strings, and GTEs (general translation editors) are just volunteers who cannot check thousands of projects on a regular basis.
So if you’ve translated something and the review takes longer than 48 hours, here’s what I’d suggest to do:
- Come to the Polyglots blog or the #polyglots channel on WordPress Slack.
- Submit a request to review your translations. Include the locale name (e.g. ru_RU) and a link to the project you’ve been working on.
If you do that, locale GTEs will get a notification, and someone should reply shortly.
@igenius thanks,
it’s nice that Pinit has Russian translate π@sergeybiryukov
thank you very much for your approved and confidence.
I read Russian translation style guide long time ago and it use for translate.P. S. Can I write comments on ww.wp.xz.cn (example here) to Russian?
