 * I have a talent for typoes, so I prefer not to write shortcodes out unless I 
   absolutely have to. Is there any way you could add a shortcode button to the 
   visual editor that would let you add them that way.
 * The option to add specific attributes would also be nice.

   by hand 😉

 * Until that day comes I’ve written down the shortcodes in a notebook in case I
   happen to space them.
