# Theme activate after install … file errors

 * We have a fresh install which worked for 3 days. The wp install was placed into
   the httpdocs directory, which I seems to be correct since it been working.
 * I selected the Polymer Theme. It installs. I click Activate and it goes nuts.
   Many errors. I have to go into control panel and delete Polymer and Stargazer
   to get things working again.
 * This is one of the many error messages
    Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir 
   restriction in effect. File(D:\InetPub\vhosts\crottynet.com\httpdocs/wp-content/
   themes/polymer/D:\InetPub\vhosts\crottynet.com\httpdocs/wp-content/languages/
   themes/stargazer-stargazer-en_US.mo) is not within the allowed path(s): (D:/InetPub/
   vhosts//crottynet.com\;C:\Windows\Temp\) in D:\InetPub\vhosts\crottynet.com\httpdocs\
   wp-includes\template.php on line 630
 * The polymer and stargazer directories were present in themes dir. I did look 
   in the php file line 360, but I see nothing that means anything to me.
 * Rather that speculate, its time to ask for help or suggestions

 * It’s a server configuration issue.
 * Contact your hosts support group and show them the error. You can research the

 * I was thinking that it may be a permissions problem.
