However, I seem to have endless problems creating a child theme. I created the .css file with the appropriate folder and parent theme. The child theme will activate but nothing is there. As a last resort I took your recommendation and used the Orbisius Child Theme plugin. It created everything properly, but again… my webpage is blank. Is this a bug? I have decided to use the Simple Custom CSS plugin instead. It works for me to alter the CSS, hopefully it wont be overwrite by a new patch of update. I ended up just copying the CSS to a text file and saving it (but I’d be curious to know if others are having trouble with the child theme or if it’s just me). All I really wanted was to make sure my changes to the theme don’t get overwritten with any wordpress updates. For the title font size, you can change the font-size in the style.css. Even I tried manually and activate it from Theme Options. It was activated successfully but the site kept on loading and loading but never loaded on my localhost installation. * Cheers!
