 * Hi,
 * I would like to buy a book for advanced Theme development. Are there any good
   books about it?
 * I’ve been making custom themes for a while, so I don’t want beginner’s books.
   I’m looking for the kind of book that would teach me how to make commercial,
   feature rich, quality themes.
 * I know there are a lot of resources online, but I would like to have a book that
   teaches best practices, workflow, etc.
 * Thanks

 * Thanks, I looked at the list, but I can’t really tell which books are intermediate/
   advanced, and which are too basic. The theme books in the list seem to be more
   for beginners.
 * I also went to Amazon, and they have many there as well.
 * I would rather hear from people that have read the books.

 * I’ve read several — and found them fairly useful for the basics, but the problem
   is that books get outdated as WP evolves. I’d use Amazon’s reviews and look at
   the publication dates as well.
 * I’m also not sure that you will find A book that addresses all of the topic you
   want to learn about — which is quite broad. You’ll likely need to learn quite
   a bit of PHP as well as other web design/development concepts/practices — which
   is also always evolving. And in many cases, there are many ways to do something
   and not necessarily one answer or approach that will work in every situation.

 * Thanks, @WPjogi.
 * PHP is not an issue, since I have a fairly good grasp of it.
 * I’ll keep looking.
 * In the mean time, I think I’ll buy that plugin Bible book. Looks good.
