# Theme Editor Not Appearing; theme-editor.php HTTP – 500 Internal Server Error

 * Running WP 2.9.1. Theme editor does not appear in sidebar under Appearance tab.
 * Tried deactivating all plugins.
 * Tried changing to default theme.
 * Tried overwriting the entire WP-Admin directory.
 * I’m baffled. Any ideas what may be causing it or how to fix?

 * P.S. This is not related to WP 2.9.1. It was happening on WP 2.8.6 as well.
