Theme & Expansion pack update – Layout Issues

    Hello,

    I updated the Bento theme and Expansion pack today and it has caused a few issues with my pages layout (particularly the front page) that I can’t seem to resolve. The site is still in development here: http://www.littleorchardinteriors.co.uk/wordpress/

    The Page Builder rows on the landing page have the layout set to full width (as does the page itself) yet they appear to be boxed despite attempts to rectify this. In addition, the slider (MasterSlider) no longer responds to resizing when the browser window is resized, only when the page is then refreshed. Finally, when the browser window is resized the slider element and page content below go out of alignment with each other.

    I am using the current version of Google Chrome.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thank you for choosing Bento!

    I can’t seem to be able to reproduce any of the mentioned issues on my side (please see a screenshot of how the website looks on my machine). If the problems are still topical, could you please attach some screenshots as well as let me know which browser you’re using to view the website. Thanks!

    That’s strange. The issues are still the same for me, see below screenshots.

    This one is on page load: HERE

    And this one when browser has been resized: HERE

    Am using Google Chrome Version 60.0.3112.90

    Was displaying correctly previous to carrying out updates.

    In addition, I’ve just noticed that the sub menus also do not function. I tested it in Firefox and it works fine, so is it a conflict with the updates and Chrome?

    Hey Keriz,

    Thanks for the screenshots! I’m using an identical version of Chrome here as well, so the issue is something else 🙂 from your screens, and the symptoms, it looks like there’s a Javascript issue which prevents all those features from working properly. Could you please do the following:
    1. Update all plugins to their latest versions
    2. Make sure you’re running Bento 1.7.3

    After that, hard-refresh the website (here’s how) and see if the issues persist. If they do, I’ll need to ask you to make a screenshot of your console – open Developer tools, click on the Console tab, and make a screenshot of its contents if they are not empty. This will help me further narrow down the set of possible causes.
