 * I haven’t set up a WP site in a while which means there have been some changes
in the wp-admin interface I haven’t had to deal with . . . until today. OMG.
What happened to the theme selector? It’s like the filters are COMPLETELY USELESS.
I ask for left hand sidebar and I get everything under the effing sun with a
bare scattering of left hand sidebars. If it doesn’t SHOW a left hand sidebar,
why am I looking at it? I ask for two-column left-hand-sidebar and I get pages
of completely non-compliant themes. When did this change? Who did this? Can we
hang them in effigy for all the world to see?
 * If there’s a fix for this, would someone please let me know? My frustration level
   right now isn’t pretty.

 * You can certainly rate a theme poorly for false advertising. Find the theme on
the WordPress.org theme repository, click through to the theme’s page where it
describes what it does, then click on the “Reviews” tab.

 * Unless it’s actually the search in the dashboard that’s the issue.

 * So, to state the completely obvious . . . I’m supposed to spend even more time
NOT servicing my client by adding biting remarks to the multitude of themes that
DON’T match my specified criteria? Oh yeah. That’s a stellar idea. Not.
 * And while I’m being excessively bitchy, why do theme authors hard-code color?
A little judicious php and the color theme can be endless tweaked by the end
user. I’m not getting that one either . . .
 * *sigh* Okay, I’m temporarily done being bitchy. Thank you for taking the time
to respond even if it wasn’t helpful.

 * If your frustrations are due to false advertising then you need to target them
to the theme/ plugin authors, not to people who try to help out on the forums.
