# Theme integration issue

 * Hi there,
 * I recently updated my WP installation with the MH Magazine WP Theme and am having
   a problem with it not showing any comments that were imported from Facebook or
   Twitter through Social. This includes both posts from before and after the theme
   change. I reached out to their support and their answer was as follows –
 * > MH Magazine does nothing that would prevent regular WordPress comments from
   > showing up, because the theme will just display what is available in your database.
   > But it’s important that the plugin stores the comments as WordPress comments.
   > If the plugin stores the comments differently in the database, then there probably
   > is an option or a piece of code that you can add to your theme to display these
   > comments. For more information you could contact the plugin developer as we
   > don’t have any insights into that plugin.
 * I replied with –
 * > Well, I did flip over to the WP default theme and the comments showed up, so
   > I would think that it suggests that the comments are being stored as WP comments.
 * To which they answered –
 * > The MH Magazine theme filters for regular WP ‘comments’ only as we’re splitting
   > the comment section into ‘comments’ and ‘pings’ to display them separately.
   > The default themes just display everything mixed, that’s probably why it is
   > being displayed, no matter what type of comment it is.
   > If the MailChimp guys have provided any feedback regarding what the requirement
   > is to display their comments, then you can modify the file comments.php as 
   > you like.
 * Anyone have any thoughts on how to address this issue?
