# Theme loading and expressing issue

 * I have uploaded a new theme to my blog that I created on Artisteer. When I viewed
   it, the footer was up in the primary widget area. As I had modified the footer
   area to contain several links and some text, I removed that information in Artisteer
   and loaded a new theme. Although I’ve activated the new theme, the old theme 
   is still showing.
 * So 2 questions – why is the footer showing up at the top of the sidebar area,
   and secondly, why won’t the second theme show when activated?

 * might be some open tags in the theme. have you tried out clear your cache?
