# Theme Preview Customizing

 * (In the wp-admin) Weaver Theme shows obsolete. Downloaded Weaver II and preview
   flashes off and on like something is not allowing it to load. I can switch themes
   but previewing will not allow customizing. I loaded a different style theme as
   well to see if it was just Weaver causing it and the other style also flashes
   and won’t allow customizing. I have 2 other WP sites and no problem with them
   for preview or customizing, updating etc.

 * Thanks.
    Anyone else with an idea of who to contact. Weaver has nothing but a
   forum if you like searching for hours and WP has no contact I could find. The
   other theme also had issues with same flashing off and on problem so I would 
   guess it to be a WP issue .

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from 
   a **fresh** download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of
   files & folder before uploading the new ones.

 * I’ve not tried that yet- I did see that in WP forum or someplace maybe on here.
   I almost called a grandkid to come over and help with it. Thank you for the help.
   I will try it and see if I mess it up or fix it. Since GAN is quitting their 
   affiliates I may have to do someething else anyway and flip a couple sites. Thanks
   again and will let you know if it helps so someone else can benefit too.

 * I started at bottom of list of plugins and the very first plugin I deactivated
   was the culprit and I was able to update / customize my theme to Weaver II. Plugin
   causing problem was “WP-Copyright-Protection”.
