I have been using Cyber Chimps Pro (CCPro) with Plus support for a few years and have been very happy with it. I purchased Responsive Pro as a “fully customizable” theme and since CCPro will no longer be updated and supported via Plus. Responsive has a lot more options, but I noted the below problems that require custom CSS to fix. These problems do not happen in CCPro and should not require design changes. I put up a screen capture of these problems here: http://sailguam.us/problems/.

    1. Responsive creates a thin white line on top of the main navigation menu. I like to use a solid color page background. This line extends into the page. This was not a problem in CCPro. I was able to remove this line by making the menu order transparent in additional CSS. There is a control in theme options to set the menu border to transparent, but it does not remove the line on the page.

    2. There is no padding between the top widget in the right sidebar and the top of the sidebar. I was able to fix this by setting padding in the #secondary with custom CSS. This should not happen to begin with. The theme provides padding controls for the main content box, but there is no control to set #secondary padding.

Below are a few other recommended theme option controls to make Responsive “fully customizable”. If any of the below exist already, would appreciate if someone would point me to them.

    3. Control to set the url link on the site banner or logo. This capability was available on Cyber Chimps Pro, but is not available on Responsive.
    4. Controls for sidebar padding and color like are available for the main content area.
    5. Sidebar layout and color controls (sidebar and widget font, link and hover colors). There are controls for sidebar typology, but layout and colors follow the main page controls.
    6. Add control to set the background of the sidebar widgets.
    7. Control to change main nav menu links to the left or right vice center.

    Regards,

    Roger

Regarding sidebar colors, our developers are already working on it and this will be released in the next update.
Control to set the URL link on site banner and control to change main nav has been passed to the dev team to schedule in future releases.

The feature to set the Sidebar colors will be released in the upcoming release of the Responsive theme.

Also, an option to set the url to the site banner will be released in the upcoming release of the Responsive theme.

    Thank you.
