# Theme: Responsive, Widget padding

 * There is a lot of padding in the widgets. I’d like to get rid of it but don’t
   know how as I’m a complete beginner at this. I’ve picked up a couple of CSS scripts
   for use in Theme Options but some of them are odd.
 * For example, while
    .home-widgets div { padding: 0px; border: 0px; }
 * seemed to work, I think actually it as this script
 * .home_widgets_box .widget {
    background-color: transparent; }
 * that just made it ‘look’ like the padding was gone.
 * Anyway, it affects everything I try to do with widgets and I’d love to learn 
   the basic on it. Also, I use TinyMCE in my widgets (which may be the problem,
   don’t know), but I’ve tried tinkering with the HTML in those boxes but that seems
   to have no effect either.
 * Any pointers to previous threads on this would be greatly appreciated.

 * i should point to this page, as the home page is does not have these widgets.
   
   Actually, I tried placing the icons in the top widget, but that really took up
   tons of space between the header bar and the top. It also displaced my logo, 
   which I have since found to be redundant and have gotten rid of anyway. I would
   like to have these social icons on the right side of my header bar, but I don’t
   think I’m up for making a custom one yet.
