    Hi,

    I’ve mentioned this before but theme (frontend) is still not fully translatable:

    File comments:
    “on” isn’t translateble.

    File searchform:
    Value “Search” isn’t translateble.

    File 04.footer:
    In footer copyright “WordPress” should be “WordPress”.

    Could you please fix this in your theme(s)?

    Guido

  • Hello @guido07111975,

    To translate the theme you can use Loco Translate plugin. Please refer the below url-

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/loco-translate/

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

    You did not read my topic good enough, because the strings that I’ve mentioned are not translatable because there’s no textdomain attached.

    Hello @guido07111975,

    Please explain what do you mean by textdomain. You can also share the screenshot via onpaste

    Kind regards,

    Manoj

    Hi,

    File comments:

    String:

    printf( _n( '1 comment %2$s', '%1$s comments %2$s', get_comments_number(), 'lan-thinkupthemes' ), number_format_i18n( get_comments_number() ), '<span class="post-title">on &ldquo;' . get_the_title() . '&rdquo;</span>' );

    Should be:

    printf( _n( '1 comment on %2$s', '%1$s comments on %2$s', get_comments_number(), 'lan-thinkupthemes' ),	number_format_i18n( get_comments_number() ), '<span class="post-title">&ldquo;' . get_the_title() . '&rdquo;</span>' );

    File searchform:

    String:

    <input type="submit" class="searchsubmit" name="submit" value="Search" />

    Should be:

    <input type="submit" class="searchsubmit" name="submit" value="<?php _e( 'Search', 'lan-thinkupthemes' ) ?>" />

    file 04.footer:

    String

    target="_blank">Wordpress

    Should be:

    target="_blank">WordPress

    Made a mistake in my previous reply:

    file 04.footer:
    WordPress contains 2 capital letters!

    Hi, I used Loco Translate to change button texts like “Read more”, “Post comment” and “Leave a reply”. After template update, all translations were gone and I can’t find this option anymore in my language (Finnish) what seemed to be fully translated after template update but not by me. Is there a way to translate these kind of basic texts?

    Hi @minnag-1

    Many updates later and still not fully translatable… it’s a shame.
    That’s why I’ve build a tiny plugin that hooks into the Minamaze translation and added all strings + translation I need (front-end only). I’m willing to send it to you, can I reach you via your website?

    Hello Guido!
    It would be nice, thank you 🙂

    It really is a shame that this puts us “non native English spoken people” into unequal position. I translated some these strings in php files but I couldn’t find string “Read more” anywhere. I do normally donate some money if I find something very suitable for me or return a favour. But this sort of feels like they are trying to collect money from all foreign users. Translations shouldn’t be only available for front end after you purchase the whole template. Users (like myself) will make translations for template makers for free after all!

    I agree. You can report every theme on the main theme page, but I don’t know whether “not fully translatable” is considered a major issue or not.

    I will send you a message via your website.
