 * Hi there. I am a big fan of this theme, but I just wanted to mention that this
themes latest update broke a site that I built for a friend. Completely wiped
   away the format.
 * I did receive the following message… “Supernova theme has been rebuilt for better
performance and to meet wordpress new standards. Therefore your settings have
been moved to customizer. You theme may look broken but it’s actually fixed now.
Please save it again from customizer live preview. Sorry for any inconvenience
   caused.”
 * That really didn’t help in any way. There was no option to save again from whatever‘
customizer live preview’ is. I looked everywhere including theme options. And
even if I did find this ‘customizer live preview’ would it have set everything
exactly back to the way the site looked previously?
 * I had to ultimately roll the site back to the previous version and shut off all
updates. The only other option was to completely reformat the entire site again
which I had no intention of doing. I just don’t have the time for that so I went
   with the easiest option.
 * I’m not mentioning this to complain. You’ve done a fantastic job on this theme
and I do love it. Just offering constructive feedback to help better possible
   further updates.
 * If I’m missing something here or didn’t take the correct actions when the theme
updated, please let me know. I’m sure it would be helpful to others as well.
 * Thank you so much!
 * Thank you.

 * I am really sorry that your site broke because of the update. I had created this
theme 3 years ago when I was getting to know WordPress and css and this was my
first theme, so the code I had written was too messy and did not follow best
practices because of which it was always creating bugs for users. Creating the
theme again was easier than fixing its bugs. So I took a month off and created
the same design from scratch with better code so it does not become a problem
   for future users.
I noticed you are a very old user of my theme. If you can
   contact me here [http://supernovathemes.com/contact-me/](http://supernovathemes.com/contact-me/)
I can help to make the new version look like the your current theme.

 * Hi, I totally understand and I think it’s great that you went ahead and rebuilt
the theme from the ground up.
 * I’m just currently just going to stick with the older version since my friend
may only be holding onto this site for another year. But if I do choose to update
to the newer version, I will definitely contact you again if I have issues fixing
things on the site. Thank you so much for the response. It’s much appreciated.

 * I also got this same message yesterday when upgrading from 1.5.0 to 2.0.6 of
Supernova. There was nothing about any of the pages even close to what they were,
and everything seemed aligned vertical, no sliders anymore, things were all screwed
up. I tried customizing, saving, updating, changing, and everything I could think
of, but it didn’t seem to make much difference. A box would come up that displayed
ERROR in it on several things I tried, but didn’t say what the error was. I selected
every other theme available and they all worked and looked more normal, just
not what I wanted. So I finally restored back to the previous level and haven’t
found anyone else commenting that has had the problem and reported it and how
to fix. It’d like to upgrade, but I need to know something else to try first.
Has anyone upgraded successfully to 2.0.6? Thanks,
