# Theme Updates and Auto Version Update

 * #1
    I get a email from the “WordPress Team” notifying me the version of wordpress
   has been updated. I am a little uncomfortable with that and hope that the email
   is valid? Does this mean the “WordPress Team” has access to my admin panel?
 * #2
    There are 2 pending theme updates in my admin panel. I have not seen a theme
   update since I have owned the site. I am do not want to take them because there
   is tons of custom code on my site. Is there anyway to delete or remove a update
