# Theme’s Search Function returning 404 Error

 * Yesterday i was building my website and by accident changed my Url structure 
   on both wordpress and website url thus locking myself out of the site.
 * I’m back now but was receiving a hole bunch of 404 errors.
 * I’ve managed to solve all except the results returned from the search function
   on my site. Still receiving 404 errors.
 * I have completed the permalinks fix, i have define correctly in other files but
   am still receiving the 404 error.
 * Maybe the search is accessing something wrong in the database? Something from
   before i got thrown all these errors due to my stupid mistake. (Not great with
   databases)

 * When I searched your site, I DID NOTget 404.
 * It searched fine for me!
 * Try flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/
   or [browser caches](http://www.refreshyourcache.com/). Not just your browser,
   but any op cache or content network cache as well [such as Cloudflare](https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169246-How-do-I-purge-my-cache-).
   That will solve many weird JavaScript issues.

 * Well, that’s fantastic. I could not figure it out an thus this must be the issue.
   Probably should have tried this before hand. Thank you for your time.

 * This is really strange. I have cleared ALL caches and nothing. Still receiving
   the 404s even on different devices, such as mobile.
 * Did you use the search bar or just click around? Clicking around on different
   things is fine, its when one initiates a search from the search bar it returns
   the 404.
