# Theme.zip upload doesn't work

 * Hi,
    i’m trying to upload a theme using “download a theme (.zip)” button but 
   the following error appears :
 * Your theme is not valid. It can only contain files that have the following extensions:“
   png”, “jpg”, “jpeg”, “gif”, “css”, “txt”
 * The theme is Sketchy (default theme example from [http://support.mailpoet.com/knowledgebase/guide-to-creating-your-own-mailpoet-theme/&#8221](http://support.mailpoet.com/knowledgebase/guide-to-creating-your-own-mailpoet-theme/&#8221);).
   And i’m using premium plugin.
 * So it’s weird … There are no other file, only .png, .css, .txt
    Could you help
   me ? Thanks.

 * Guys, check if your .zip doesn’t contain hidden files, like DS_Store on Mac or
   Thumbs.db on Windows. Remove those files from the .zip and you are good to go!

 * I’m having a similar issue – after removing the DS_Store files, the invalid format
   tells me it’s missing a file in the wysija folder with the following directory:
   temp_541a1aca85c1ff670165//__MACOSX/style.css

 * Move your style.css to outside the folder not allowed folder __MACOSX and then
   remove this folder.

 * I just ran into this problem and I had no hidden files.
 * My resolution was to upload the newsletter theme folder (not zip) directly to:/
   wp-content/uploads/wysija/themes/
 * Then it worked.
