There is a problem receiving emails.
-
After the last update that took place on November 7, 2025, I stopped receiving emails when a customer fills out the form. I don’t know what caused this problem.

Hi @mkamel9089,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the trouble after the update.I’ve just performed some tests on my end but I’m unable to reproduce any issues after the update. Could you please verify if you have already configured an SMTP plugin to improve email delivery on your site and the kind of mailer that you hae set up?
Also, to ensure that I’m testing on a similar environment, could you please go to WPForms > Tools > System Info > Copy System Info and share these details in your next reply so that I can set up a similar environment?

Hi @mkamel9089
Thank you for getting back to me.
It seems that your site is not currently configured to use an SMTP plugin to improve email delivery which could tie in to the issue that you experienced after the update. To resolve email delivery issues like this, we usually recommend configuring a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.Wold you mind setting up one of the options listed in the tutorial and letting me know if this helps to resolve the issue?
Thank you!My problem is with receiving messages; they used to arrive in my email, but now no messages are coming through. I haven’t changed anything in the settings since installing the plugin. Will configuring an SMTP plugin solve the receiving problem?
Hi @mkamel9089
Great question and I totally understand your concern. Email service providers are tightening the security each day and the best way we know to resolve these kinds of issues is to authenticate the emails sent from your site by configuring an SMTP plugin. Because of this reason, I expect that the issue will be resolved as soon as you configure the SMTP plugin.
Please let me know if you have other questions.
Thank you!Hi @mkamel9089,
We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now.
If you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel free to reach out.
Thanks!
