 * Hey.
 * Is it possible for a third-party plugin running on my WordPress website to “detect”
   when a user completes a “share”? I am interested in awarding points to users 
   who do but would need to “know” when one is completed.

 * Hi Gabriel,
 * yes this is possible. I am using a similar method in the Mashshare Add-On “LikeAfterShare”.
   Its very easy to extend this Add-On so that a user is redirected to a specific
   page after doing a share. This page could than have the logic to credit a user.
