I think I may be having a similar issue. An event I have at 11 am MST today was pegged as “This event has passed” and removed from my calendar. I have double-checked all my settings and I can’t see the issue.
This is the event: https://www.dmsiworks.com/event/nav-add-ons-configurator-point-sale/
Sorry to hear that!
@josephpolk – would you be able to give these troubleshooting steps a shot and report back? Particularly when I look at your event dated March 17, I can’t help but wonder if some theme or customization code is misfiring/perhaps wasn’t fully tested.
@bneufelddms – mind creating a fresh topic? Unless you are seeing exactly the same thing (and I don’t believe it is, having looked at both sites) it makes sense to create a different topic to minimize confusion.
Thanks!
Barry:
I followed the steps on the page that you mentioned:
1. When I activated Twenty Sixteen, the problem resolved.
2. When I re-activated the “Charity is Hope” theme — and deactivated all plugins except for “The Events Calendar” — the problem still exists (“This event has passed.”)
Please advise on what can be done to resolve this since it is an issue between the theme and the plugin.
Thanks in advance!
Joe
I also noticed that multiple dates are appearing on a posting. For example, if you visit http://outreachteen.org/event/choices/, you’ll see March 26 (today’s date) and then the current time with 2 bars (one above, one below) which say “This event has passed.” and then the actual event date/time which has not passed yet.
Help! 🙂

Hey @josephpolk,
Since the problems resolves when activating Twenty Seventeen theme, this tell us that the issue is with your theme and not The Events Calendar.
You can reach out to the theme developer, or check out our Themer’s Guide to get an idea about how our template systems work.
Hope that helps!
Ed 🙂
