• I currently use W3 Total Cache, however in the latest version of my theme support was dropped for it.

Which one is better? In addition, can I transfer my settings from Total Cache to this?

    Thanks

  • It’s hard to say which is plugin better. I’d like WPSC because I can submit PRs (fixes, feature requests, …) on github. Also, there is WP-CLI package wp-super-cache-cli which I’m using. You can develop your WPSC plugin which is unique feature.

From other side, WPSC doesn’t support HTML minification (WPSC doesn’t change original HTML – except cache comments which you can disable). Also, there aren’t leverage browser caching, but I like it because I could use my custom code in .htaccess or install plugin as Far Future Expiry Header.

There are some differences regarding to settings and you need to manually set WPSC (there isn’t automatic transfer). It’s similar with other cache plugins/solutions.
