# Threaded comments (highlighting new comments)

 * Hi all,
 * I just love the threaded comments, making it very easy to follow a conversation
   between commentators. That is, if you are new to the topic and the comments. 
   If you’re following comments on an existing post on, say, a daily basis, it’s
   a hassle to locate the new comments.
 * **Is there an easy way to highlight new comments?**
 * I think it could be done with a cookie and looking at the comment publish date—
   resulting in a caching problem — but maybe there is an easy way?
    Or do we need
   a nice plugin? 😉
