Thumbnails not generating, Edit Image button Missing From Media Library

    Day before yesterday while uploading images to my blog I experienced this very serious problem. The thumbnails weren’t created for the new images which I uploaded. To make it worse, the ‘Edit Image’ Button in Media Library isn’t showing up for any images(Old or new).
    Never installed any new plugin to suspect that it might have caused the case.

    Really worried about this problem, please help.
