(of previous posts). * It doesn’t seem to be working. (see site above). * The theme is Gemer. * I thought the thumbnails were automatically generated but I can’t see where they should be or any way of manually doing it. * Looking at the source html you can see an image thumbnail but no URL path or image name created. *

Yes, I just had the white screen kiss of death and had to re-install from scratch. Lost about 5 days of posts. I have a different theme on there now. Will have a look at that and see if I can do what you suggest. * A bit scared to switch themes again right now as there may be a bug with the latest version that is causing the white screens. It happened on 2 of my sites tonight and had no choice but to use back ups to re-install them. * Thanks for your reply. Installed a thumbnail plug in and it gave an error… ‘this theme doesn’t support thumbnails’. * Maybe it doesn’t. The theme ‘Gemer’ may be making it’s own version of thumbnails.
