Thumbnails appear as thin vertical lines

For some reason most but not all of my thumbnails are appearing as thin vertical lines. I’ve recreated my thumbnails and deleted cache, reset the images and deleted cache, but nothings helping… meanwhile when you click on them the images look perfectly normal in lightbox. Please help.
