# thumbnails cache folder is not writable

 * Hi there I am getting this error message:
 * “The thumbnails cache folder is not writable! Click here to read how you can 
   fix this. Unless you do so your images might not appear and the plugin could 
   only generate whitespace!”
 *  When I click on the link to see how to fix it, it says “Sorry, you are not allowed
   to access this page.”
 * Any idea how to resolve this?
