# Ticker problems

 * Hi there.
 * This morning, we logged in to change the ticker to draft so it was no longer 
   scrolling on our site, but were not able to unpublish. The editor window with
   the actual message was also not visible to edit the ticker.
 * We had to change the plugin filename to disable the plugin.
 * Wordpress on this site was just updated to version 5.5.1 last night – could that
   be interfering with your plugin?

 * Are there any other plugin or theme updates available for your site? It sounds
   like there is a javascript error happening in your dashboard, but I don’t believe
   it’s coming from this plugin. It has been tested and runs correctly on 5.5.1
