 * Hello,
 * If I am not mistaken, if you leave this box unticked and you can’t change the
   Duration, there will be time estimation by default – 1 minute. Before the updates,
   it used to be estimated like this and them showed calculated time.

 * However, in Course Structure I see this:

 * > [View post on imgur.com](https://imgur.com/xygndIL)
 * Where did I go wrong?

 * Thank you for using CoursePress. I checked with the development team and this
   was indeed changed. If a time is not set the time estimate is not displayed.
   If you set a time value it should appear on the front end.

 * Thank you for your reply. Do you think I could ask you as the author to get the
   default time back?
 * You know, if you have to upload 3000 tasks, it’ll take quite a lot of time to
   set the time every time.
 * As for me, it used to be better, you get 1 default minute and if you are not
   satisfied with the time, you can change it. A perfect system, I reckon.
 * Thank you for thinking it over.

 * Hi
 * I have tied to set the time, here is what I get
 * First,
 * I need to upload a text for 10 minute reading. The time is not a necessary thing
   in this task but the only option now as I understand.
 * > [View post on imgur.com](https://imgur.com/oglXt41)
 * I used to be estimated at 1 minute by default as it was completely fine because
   there was no timer and the could read it as long as they needed.
 * Now the time cannot be set up.
 * Second,
 * I need to add a module with an exercise the estimated time is 1 minute but time
   is not necessary because it’s not a text.
 * > [View post on imgur.com](https://imgur.com/ZxmGlT5)
 * to set the duration I have to tick time, set the time, untick timer because it’s
   not needed.
 * In the end, the time is not shown, because the time is not on.
 * Third,
 * I set the time for a module – 1 minute, so the length of the Section (Exercise)
   is one minute now.

 * I add 2 more modules with the same settings and in the end I should get 3 minute
   duration.

 * Here is what I have:
 * > [View post on imgur.com](https://imgur.com/reEWKYk)
 * Estimated time is not shown even with a ticked timer.
 * Some sections and modules do not need restrictions but at the same time it’s
   good to give estimated time which is impossible now if the timer is off.

 * If I add a video, it’s impossible to set the estimated time and the length of
   the video is not caculated in the whole duration of the Course.

 * Hello activeenglish,
 * I was able to see most of the issues you mention, except this one
 * > I set the time for a module – 1 minute, so the length of the Section (Exercise)
   > is one minute now.
   > I add 2 more modules with the same settings and in the end I should get 3 minute
   > duration.
 * Estimated time for this setting showed correctly for me overview
 * Can you check if on another WordPress theme this will look the same?
 * For the rest I’m pinging developer to check why this works like that and if it
   is possible to change that.
 * kind regards,
    Kasia

 * Kasia,
 * Thank you for all the work you’ve done to replicate the issue.
 * I’ll try to replicate the issue on another WP theme.

 * Kasia,
 * This is what I’ve got from the theme support:
 * > In new version of coursepress, Coursepress have deprecated time estimation
   > facility unit wise. So we have remove this facility from theme also.
   > I would like to say that in previous coursepress version, we are able to set
   > time estimation per unit. But in newer coursepress pro version, there are only
   > for few module type. This time estimation facility is removed from coursepress
   > default theme also.
 * So there is no estimated time shown in the overview now, right?

 * Hello activeenglish,
 * > So there is no estimated time shown in the overview now, right?
 * Not exactly, it should show times for questions like single choice, like in your
   course
 * So that statement:
 * > This time estimation facility is removed from coursepress default theme also.
 * Is not true. Because default theme shows those times
 * so even time estimation was removed for some type of modules it wasn’t removed
   entirely from showing in overview. That theme developers might removed it basing
   on wrong information.
 * kind regards,
    Kasia
