    Hi!

I have a page that needs to change a picture automatically once a week. And timed content works GREAT with this!

The picture is timed to change to a new one every saturday-sunday night. BUT, the site doesn’t update to all users automatically, unless I go to the management site and click “flush cache”. After that the change shows to every user.

You have any idea what causes this? I saw your pinned post about “caching plugins”, but in my knowledge I do not have any plugins like that… I’m using GoDaddy hosting and management site.

    Thanks!

What “management site” are you talking about? And if there is an option “flush cache” this means there is a cache which stores a copy of the website.

So your problem may not be caching in WordPress itself but caching by GoDaddy.

I think the official title is “GoDaddy Managed WordPress Hosting”, so in other words it’s GoDaddys own website hosting service.

And you’re right, it’s probably a GoDaddy problem, I just thought that I should ask here, if the answer would present itself… 🙂

“GoDaddy Managed WordPress Hosting” and “flush cache” as an option in some “managmement site” sounds like some caching which GoDaddy uses to reduce the load on their shared webhosting – in fact this is the same as using caching plugins in WordPress.
