Could you please let us know which theme you are using? Sometimes it might be a conflict with your current theme. One test you can try on your end is to deactivate your other plugins one by one to identify the issue. Hower the problem does persist :(. I also tried using the Block Editor variant of you Plugin. We have tested the same scenario on our end with the same theme and PHP version, and there is no issue—it is working fine. You can create a test InstaWP site, replicate the same case on that site with the same PHP version and theme, and test it on InstaWP.
