# Timeout issue

 * 10 item checks out of 15 fails with timout. I asked the host to increase the 
   timeout. They increased it to 900s as they say. Still all the failed checks stops
   after approx 120s. I’m los at the moment.

 * Most of the issues have been solved by increasing the memory (see [http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/](http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/))
   However still I get Maximum execution time of 55 seconds exceeded error for 3/
   15 less crucial plugins. How to eliminate that (for a none expert user)?

 * You could try adding this file as a plugin then activating it:

 * This will set the timeout to 890s, which should be plenty of time!
