Timeout on form creation, missing database tables?

    Hi folks,

    I’m getting a timeout when trying to create or save a draft on new forms. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, and have run database updates again using the database helper plugin, to no avail.

    I might be barking up the wrong tree, but these apparently missing tables seem to be the only potential culprit I’ve been able to spot.

    Any guidance you can give would be hugely appreciated, thanks!

    Hi @ojs81,

    If this is a new GiveWP installation with no donations what you can try is deleting and reinstalling GiveWP (be sure to select to delete all data either in the settings at Donations > Settings > Advanced or on the modal that pops up before deactivation).

    Then reinstall GiveWP and check if all the tables have been created.

    If the site has donations already what you can do is install GiveWP on a staging site and import only the missing tables into your live site.
    Be sure to backup first in case something goes wrong.

    Ah thanks Matheus. Initially my attempts to uninstall would also timeout in the same way. Eventually though I was able to export the missing tables from an old installation and import them to my current one. This didn’t fix the issue itself, but it did allow me to successfully uninstall and delete all data, and my fresh installation is now working correctly.
