# Timeout problems

 * Hi,
 * I’m using your plugin but in the last time I get timeout problems with it. Saving
   other posts or entering the Pardot settings page needs a lot of time. The Pardot
   settings page doesn’t load, I’m only getting an 500 error.
 * The only error I can find is the following in the error logs:
 * `mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 240 seconds`
 * Also with higher timeout settings or FPM instead of FastCGI it isn’t working.
   The wordpress debug log doesn’t contains useful information.
 * What could be the problem here?

    - In the first instance, can you try [whitelisting your IP address](https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=pardot_admin_ip_location_activation.htm?type=0)?
    - If that doesn’t help, it could be worth seeking help via the [Help & Training Portal](https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000181929&type=1)
