# Timer feature

 * With a timer feature, a temporary adjustment to the htaccess file can be made,
   and the timer will revert to the previous version of the htaccess file after 
   the duration.
 * Two situations in which this is useful.
    a) testing a new file, and in case of
   problems or malfunction, the original htaccess file will be restored, and access
   can be regained after the duration time. b) if the settings need to be temporarily
   set to another state, for a task (such as site editing of protected areas) then
   the editing time can be estimated, and the file will not be forgotten to be returned
   to its main operational state.
