# Timezone setting broken?

 * For the past couple of days I’ve noticed that when I publish a blog post, the
   timestamp is completely off. For example, I just posted one this evening at 8:
   57pm but the post timestamp says that it’s 2:57am the next day.
 * When I go into my settings on my WP panel, my timezone is suddenly set back to
   UTC+0, and whenever I try to change it and update, it goes automatically back
   to UTC+0.
 * Any idea what’s going on…?

 * The time zone function reflects web server time and server settings, not your
   local time; there’s no way for WordPress to reference your local time. So your
   hosting company has changed server time or zones or something….
