 * Whenever I add code to my page using the html section in the TinyMCE editor,
it removes or garbles my code. I have tried adding the ` tags around it, and
it moved them up above the code I was trying to protect. `
 * I've had this problem for years, and it drives me nuts. It seems like it would
be enough of an issue that someone would have fixed it by now. Not using the
Visual part of the editor is not an option. I have checked the box in the settings
to tell it to stop removing the <p> tags.
 * What do I do? Is there a better editor? Is there a plugin to fix this? Do I need
to alter some code in the editor (my last choice, but I'll do it if that's the
   only choice.)

 * I’m just modifying something from the above post. Just before the words that
appear in bold in the above post, I had written the word code, with brackets
around it. This editor thought I meant those words were supposed to be code,
but I was actually saying I put the code tags around my code in the html editor.
