Title under Thumbnail

    Hi,

    Great Plugin 🙂

    But how can I display the Titel of each Related Post under the thumbnail?

    Can you please try this – you will need to select no styles in the Style tab and add this code to the Custom styles box.

    Hi,

    I tried both options and they don´t work when I select “no styles”. Both options have no title to display under the thumbnail.

    What do I have to select in the tab “Thumbnail”?

    At the moment I have selected:
    – Display thumbnails inline with posts, before title
    – crp_thumbnail (300×200)
    – Use HTML attributes to set the width and height

    Those options under Thumbnail are fine – did you add the code from the link above into the Custom Styles box?

    Yes, I tried it. But the titel is still placed inside the thumbnail, not under.

    Could you please post a screenshot of your styles tab of the settings?

    Hi Ajay,

    here is a screenshot: Screenshot

    1) I copied the css code from “text-below-thumbs.css” in the “Custom CSS” field

    2) You can see that is has no effect.

    3) When I put the same css code from “text-below-thumbs.css” im my “Customizer” you can see the styling. But you can see in the Inspector that there is no titel displayed under the image.

    I hope that helps to find a solution 🙂

    Ok, I found a solution. I now checked the style “Rounded thumbnails” and additionally used the code from “text-below-thumbs.css” in my Customizer to overwrite the styling. It worked – but I don´t know if this is the best way? 😉

    But I have 1 other question:

    I have selected the option Order Posts > Randomly. But as you can see in the screenshot the related post shows 8 of 9 from ther same category (“Greece”). How can I mix it a little more to show other categories?

    The main issue here is relevance and there isn’t a way to limit number of posts in a category at this stage
