# TOC doesn’t show

 * Hello there,
 * the TOC doesn’t show in this post. I had this issue before and it was caused 
   by an apostrophe but I don’t have any in this post. I tried to remove any weird
   character but still no success. Could you please help?

 * Can you please try changing the insert Position setting to the top? Does it shown
   now?

 * Ok, the issue seems to be the hyphen in the first heading.
 * `Orange County Airbnb – Huntington beach`
 * It seems like it is being tranform into either a an ndash or mdash and since 
   it is not the same, ezTOC can not find where to inert in the page.
